Cooking class
Fausta Occhipinti and the chef of
Baglio are pleased to invite you to the
cooking classes organized to rediscover
the recipes of the Sicilian tradition, in
particular, the preparation of fresh pasta
or the “Scacce ragusane” (stuffed buns
of the tradition of south-east Sicily).
The cooking class can also have a variant
on desserts with a special course to
learn how to prepare the famous
Sicilian cannoli.
Chic pic-nic
The tablecloth is set with silver cutlery, handmade ceramics and pillows with precious textures; it is set on the ground, between the rows of vines or on the meadows of the large 10-hectare estate immersed in the countryside of Ragusa. In this unique place, made to discover (or rediscover) yourself, the picnic has the special flavor of the delights that come from the garden, freshly baked bread, local meats and cheeses and traditional dishes of Sicilian cuisine.
Lunch in vineyard
Lunch at Baglio Occhipinti is a refreshing
break served under the olive trees or in
the ancient Palmento. The proposed
formula is oriented to the discovery
of traditional dishes, enhanced by the
organic cultivation of Baglio. Together
or alternatively, a selection of fresh
vegetables salads freshly picked.
Everything to combine with a selection
of local meats and cheeses, such as the
famous Ragusano D.O.P. The guests
who prefer a light lunch, you can choose
fresh fruit from the garden or granita,
delicious, but always light.
Candelight dinner
The dinner at Baglio Occhipinti is
a sensory journey to rediscover the
traditional Sicilian cuisine through the
story of the seasonal production of the
garden, as well as the catch.
The daily
menu alternates meat and fish, but also
vegetarian and vegan to meet the needs
of each guest and any need or request.
Of course, even the youngest guests are
at the center of the attention of Fausta
and the Chef: in fact, a healthy and tasty
dinner is prepared entirely dedicated
to them.
Wine tour in family wineries
Baglio Occhipinti is the starting point
to travel with senses among the best
itineraries of Cerasuolo di Vittoria.
At
Arianna Occhipinti and COS’ wineries
there will be one of their trusted
collaborators who will welcome you and
make you take a walk in the vineyards,
listening to their history, their approach
to respect ecosystems and biodynamic
agriculture, and then taste some of their
wines of their production. Today COS is
synonymous of Cerasuolo di Vittoria but
also of rigour and quality.
This winery is
responsible for the rebirth of Vittoria’s
area and its extraordinary wines.
Horse tour
Horseback ride, among the Vittoria
hills, riding on the paths of the Iblei
Mountains, where the still genuine
nature offers a complete relaxation in
the countryside.
It will be an opportunity
to forget the daily stress of the city, the
hectic life, and enjoy the rediscovery of
nature and the animals that live there.
Cheese tasting
During our candlelight dinner, you will have the opportunity to taste also four types of local cheeses, accompanied by jams of our production, that will make you rediscover the typical Sicilian flavors.
Chocolate tasting
During our candlelight dinner, you will have the opportunity to taste three different types of excellent Modica chocolate, accompanied by three different types of natural Vermouth.

It will be an opportunity to learn in an informal, fun and pleasant way the basics of Italian, making new friends.
