Gelso is a Deluxe room with an exclusive identity characterized by the floor obtained from the recovery of period cement tiles that form a chessboard with vivid colours: burgundy and white, all-around a border of stylized flowers. Deluxe Gelso is located on the first floor and owes its name to the view of the courtyard with the large central mulberry tree.
The Deluxe is naturally spacious, of about 32 square meters: a single room with a living area and a high sloping ceiling with exposed beams in natural wood. The light that permeates the three windows skilfully mixes the burgundy notes of the floor, with the yellow of the natural stone of the walls, and the white of the roof. Sleep quality is guaranteed by the queen size bed with double pillows and a comfortable sofa bed: Gelso can also accommodate a family of four. The Deluxe is personalized with fine beige-coloured fabrics and unique furnishing elements such as the period desk with mirror.
The bathroom is a combination of the white mortar walls and the stone walls, which also become the natural backdrop for the large floor-level shower. The burgundy and stylized flower cement tiles are the leitmotif that embellishes the sink by framing it and giving the identity of the Deluxe. For guests, the welcome surprise of homemade organic soap exclusively for Baglio Occhipinti.
Each Deluxe by Baglio Occhipinti is also narrated by the scents that pervade the windows: olive essences, fresh citrus notes, aromas of wildflowers and the triumph of roses. In all Deluxe rooms an assortment of books to allow you to laze in the garden, enjoying the warmth of the Sicilian sun, perhaps accompanied by a glass of wine produced in Baglio Occhipinti.
